When I spotted these shorts in H&M, I literally grabbed them in all 4 colors they had available, but then I had to calm down and stop myself - I walked away with 2 colors and this is one of them! Hot pink, draw string mini shorts are a perfect staple for my summer wardrobe, plus they have pockets!  The same goes for the shirt, I just so happen to love and collect gingham tops.. what don't I collect? Grabbed them in all colors and ended up walking away with a couple.  There are just some things (a lot for me) that you just have to have.

This is kind of a go-to laid back look for me -- I always say, when in doubt, throw on something comfortable and casual (I am BIG on wearing white tee's) and a killer pair of heels.  You can't go wrong!

A few weeks ago I was all about the loud and brighter hues, not that I am still not a fan, these days I am all about the softer and lighter tones. Neutrals, pastels, I'm there.

I can't help but favor pastel shades, these delicate soft tones are too hard to pass up! So any chance I get to add a little hint here and there, I do! These boyfriend shorts come in a variety of pastel shades too, so lucky me!
