thermal & cord's

{top: Old Navy pants: Forever 21 (similar style here) belt : GAP shoes: Bebe (similar style here) clutch: Love, Cortnie}

Mixing different textures and pairing together contrasting colors can be quite a challenge at times for some, but I love pulling out my "creative side" to create a unexpected look.  I paired the thermal top with red corduroy's and tied it together with a mint green belt, leopard print clutch and nude corked slingback's for a little edge!

In honor of Cyber Monday, this leopard clutch aka 'Ashleigh' is on sale now for $10 off ending at 8pm today! Head over to Love, Cortnie to shop this item and peruse my sister's collection.

pink layers

{dress (worn as a skirt): H&M sweater: Forever 21 button up: American Eagle shoes: Aldo}

We can now "officially" say it's Christmas time! And I couldn't be more than thrilled! And how lucky are we to still have this beautiful weather!  I try to refrain from wearing sunglasses in all my posts, but I guess I need to start wearing them more often so I don't look so peeved!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

striped fishtail

 {skirt: ASOS (shop here) top: Forever 21 shoes: Steven by Steve Madden (shop here)}

One fish, two fish, yellow fish, blue fish.. that is the first thing that came to my mind when I thought 'fishtail', Dr. Seuss, I can be such a kid at times!

I love this pattern and the detailing at the bottom so I kept the look to a minimum so the fishtail and bold colors could stand out.  I had my eye on this skirt for the longest and finally gave in, you can own it too, it's actually on sale now (link included above).

Happy Holidays!

{sweater and button up: American Eagle shorts: Forever 21 shoes: Bakers necklace and clutch: H&M}

Class in session, eh? Great way to put a spin on a classic button and sweater.  Another thing I love about the Fall/Winter seasons, I get to break out my collection of knee and thigh-high socks! Love them.

golden sequins

{sweater: Forever 21 skirt: Forever 21 (similar style here) shoes: Steve Madden}

With these past beautiful days and weekends, how could I not fully take advantage of this weather! Still holding onto every last bit of warmth we can get and summer items, hence the open toes.  Can't help myself.  I am completely loving sequins this season, for some odd reason, sequins remind me of holiday-party wear.  Too keep my my look from being overtly dressy, I paired the mini with a slouchy sweater, unlikely match, right?

me & my boyfriend

{jeans: Joe's Jeans tee: Forever 21 shoes: Rock & Republic (similar style here)}

Jeans and a white tee is my kind of outfit and is definitely one of my go-to's! So in love with these boyfriend jeans and the many ways I could wear them! Perfect staple to your wardrobe.  Simple and easy, I dressed up this casual look with a pair of studded booties and kept everything else to a minimum so I could let my shoes do the talking!

gone mod

{dress: H&M shoes: Aldo headband: Forever 21 (similar style here)}

It is always fun to "relive" a certain era by dressing the part, literally.  The blocked white panels at the bottom of this dress and a short hemline made me feel like I was in the 60's when the mini-skirt was invented and women began opting for a more revealing silhouette; yet, still very ladylike with the added pearls and headband.  Although, I am missing the knee high go-go boots!

New to my page: as I have mentioned I have teamed up with STYLE Magazine to create their online fashion content, I have included a new tab on my blog, with all the published links so you can follow along!

Tis' the season to mix and match! I couldn't be more than happy to ring in November aka holiday season! The sunny days are dwindling down, the days are getting shorter, night time is quickly approaching come 6pm, sigh. It is officially holiday time!!

On another note, I announced last week on Twitter that I am teaming up with STYLE Magazine to produce their online fashion content.  So if you follow me, stay tuned!

Happy 1st of the month!
